  • You'll safeguard our competitiveness by conducting frequent, assertive negotiations to ensure a stable material supply and manage material prices in a volatile supply market.
  • You'll independently form and finalize supplier contracts.
  • You'll synthesize strategies from the company, Business Units, and Procurement, enriching them with insights on specific supply market development.
  • You'll transform these strategies into material category strategies and ensure their successful implementation.
  • You'll be a major player in the current change management and transformation processes within the team.
  • You'll continuously seek innovative procurement solutions that support our business growth.
  • You'll manage relationships with internal stakeholders, fully understanding their unique requirements.
  • You'll collaborate across departments and countries to create and implement effective procurement solutions.
  • You'll conduct regular market research.
  • You'll ensure strict adherence to our product development processes and Procurement Guideline.

  • You've completed a Bachelor’s degree in economics, chemistry, or engineering and have several years of relevant professional experience in an international, industrial context, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • You're an experienced negotiator, assertive and skilled.
  • You're familiar with modern procurement processes and systems.
  • You've ideally worked with value engineering/cost modeling methods and tools.
  • You understand material category management and product development processes.
  • You have experience in cross-functional and international project management.
  • You're proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • You thrive in cross-functional teamwork.
  • You're interculturally adaptable and internationally flexible.
  • You're proactive and open-minded, always seeking procurement solutions that meet customer needs.
  • You're fluent in Business English, and proficiency in German is a plus.
