Das sind Ihre Aufgaben

The jobholder ensures the execution and further development of tesa’s total cost management (TCM) philosophy. In this role, you are responsible for the development and execution of cost management systems & procedures, enabling the organization to continuously work on main cost drivers and thereby securing competitiveness and a profitable growth of tesa’s product assortment.

  • Incorporate and establish TCM methodology into all relevant corporate processes, particularly in product lifecycle management and product development
  • Support procurement in negotiations with suppliers based on the results of cost analysis and evaluation at suppliers (Cost and Value Analysis).
  • Implement and integrate a continuous cost reduction approach into the product maintenance process
  • Conduct design to cost approach in the product development process
  • Further development and roll out the TCM methodology for the global tesa organization
  • Ensure annual saving potential coming from TCM measures, establish TCM targets in the annual business plan and ensure tracking of those targets

Das ist Ihr Profil

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar
  • Experience to work in an international business environment for at least 5 years
  • Proven track record of cost management experience & project results
  • Knowledge in value analysis / engineering tools and methods
  • Project Management skills, especially in cross functional team set ups  
  • Very strong skills in communication and moderation
  • Strong strategic & visionary personality with ability to translate strategy into action
  • Willingness for global travel (<10%)
