Das sind Ihre Aufgaben
In our technology laboratory, we develop solvent-free adhesives for technical adhesives tapes. The position to be filled is intended to help us expand our leading position in the field of sustainable materials and processes.
- Development of adhesive building blocks, technology modules, processes and methods in the area of acrylic and non-acrylic solvent-free pressure sensitive adhesives
- Systematic development and expansion of know-how in the field of radical polymerization of pressure sensitive adhesives (e.g. polyacrylate)
- Scientific conception, evaluation and implementation of new concepts in close cooperation with adjacent departments, suppliers and external cooperation partners
- Coordination and implementation of new chemical concepts on laboratory and pilot plant scale
- Self-sufficient execution of projects and feasibility studies in interdisciplinary teams
- Support securing research and development results by IP
Das ist Ihr Profil
- Chemist (PhD) with comprehensive knowledge in organic synthesis or polymer chemistry
- First experience in the field of radical polymerization (e.g especially UV initiated acrylates or synthesis of polyurethane based adhesives).
- Confident in preparative laboratory work
- Quick perception and evaluation of novel chemical concepts and their potentials
- Independent, team-oriented and analytical working style
- Assertive personality with distinctive organization, communication and networking skills
- Experience using statistical design of experiments desirable
- Confident presentation of laboratory results at internal and external events
- Excellent language skills in English and beginner (B1) level in German and routine in using of typical office applications (MS Office 365 etc.), Chinese and Korean language skills are a plus.
