Das sind Ihre Aufgaben

  • Finding creative ideas for new product designs and fabrication technologies
  • Assessment, selection and implementation of most promising new technologies
  • Demonstrator / prototype development and testing for products based on new technologies.
  • Establish and orchestrate network of internal and external cooperation partners to accelerate innovation
  • Take over responsibility for lab & pilot equipment or lab infrastructure. Lead projects and contribute to feasibility studies in interdisciplinary teams
  • Secure development results with own IP
  • Trend scouting and ideation

Das ist Ihr Profil

  • PhD in material science, physics or similar discipline and optionally postdoctoral experience in an interdisciplinary field.
  • Deep Understanding in polymer physics, rheology, mechanics and optics. Interest for polymer chemistry and ability to collaborate with chemists on multidisciplinary challenges.
  • Professional scientific experience in the fields of simulation, mathematics, electronics / optics, design of experiments, data analysis advantageous
  • Competence and enthusiasm to extract relevant information from literature and patents and to transfer it to own work
  • Motivation to cope with challenging and changing new tasks and interest for trends.
  • Proactive, team oriented and analytic workstyle. Hands on mentality in the lab and pilot center.
