Your Role

As the Head of AI Transformation at tesa, you will work with the business to identify the most innovative and most valuable AI use cases. You will be a key player driving the development and implementation of AI strategy, program, and projects. You will work closely with the Head of Digital, Information, and Technology and other senior management across the global company to define and execute tesa's AI vision and roadmap. Your role will involve leading AI initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring AI governance and compliance, and identifying and integrating new AI technologies and trends. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and innovative leader to shape the future of AI at tesa and make a significant impact on our digital transformation journey.

Your Responsibilities

  • Define and Drive AI Strategy: Develop and implement tesa's AI vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with our overarching business objectives. Lead and coordinate AI initiatives across various departments to ensure seamless integration and synergy.
  • Identify AI Use Cases with the business: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to successfully identify, plan, execute, manage, and monitor AI projects. Ensure that AI initiatives are well-coordinated and aligned with the company's goals.
  • AI Governance: Implement policies for the responsible use of AI, ensuring compatibility with the tesa IT landscape and compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with data protection and security standards in all AI applications and processes.
  • Trend Identification and Integration: Identify, evaluate, and integrate new AI technologies and trends to enhance tesa's competitive edge. Stay ahead in the rapidly evolving AI landscape and transfer it in valuable use cases for tesa.
  • Mentorship and Community Building: Foster AI expertise, inspire departments, and collaborate to identify AI use-cases. Mentor and develop a global community of AI ambassadors, data scientists, and engineers to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports to senior management on the progress, challenges, and outcomes of AI projects. Ensure transparency and keep the leadership informed about AI initiatives.

Das ist Ihr Profil

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, AI or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in AI, data science, or technology.
  • Proven experience in leading AI initiatives and influencing teams across a matrixed organization.
  • Deep understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and other AI technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, change management knowledge with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience in adhering to data protection regulations and security standards.
  • Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and staying abreast of industry advancements.
  • Fun in working with the business to identify and define outstanding AI use cases
  • Fluent in business English
