Das sind Ihre Aufgaben

Join our future Controlling & Accounting team as Financial Accountant (f/m/x), where you will play a crucial role in managing the headquarters balance sheet and partially the profit & loss statement.

  • Overseeing and ensuring correctness of balance sheet incl. P&L of the tesa SE according IFRS and local GAAP (HGB)
  • Ensure correct closing according IFRS and HGB and provide input for annual management report
  • Financial planning / forecasting of various balance sheet positions
  • Conducting financial analysis, including variance analysis on balance sheet and P&L positions, and trend analysis, to provide insights and recommendations to management for performance improvement
  • Monitoring all balance sheet positions and initiating measurements to ensure IFRS and efficient processes and transactions
  • Assisting in coordinating and providing support for internal and external audits of headquarters' financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure tax compliance by ensuring correctness of VAT bookings
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization of financial operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Das ist Ihr Profil

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification preferred.
  • Other relevant certifications, such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), could be beneficial.
  • 3 years' experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP (HGB) 
  • Ability to analyze financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with other departments.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing financial regulations, technologies, and business needs.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP FI and MS Office
  • Fluent German and English skills
