Werkstudent Simulation (m/w/d)

You will support tesa SE directly in ongoing projects
You will be responsible of part-projects in the area of simulation
You will support the development and improvement of our adhesives and products through modeling and simulation
You will help to adapt and extend classic and current material models and simulation methods
You will independently document your work results

Excellent bachelor’s degree in the fields of mechanical engineering, physics, materials science, mathematics or comparable
Good programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB
Good knowledge of finite element method, (nonlinear) continuum mechanics and underlying mathematics is welcome
Basic skills in the use of appropriate FEA software packages like SIMULIA Abaqus is a plus
First experience in modeling and simulation of polymeric materials is also a big plus
