Das sind Ihre Aufgaben

Will be responsible for leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to enhance our research and development efforts. This role involves the analysis of complex materials data to drive innovation and improve product performance.

- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for adhesive formulations and tape performance prediction.
- Adhere to company quality management (QM) processes and procedures according to the Integrated Management System (IMS), considering enterprise environmental factors in daily tasks.
- Research and evaluate commercially available AI software to enhance R&D capabilities.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify correlations, trends, and technical insights that can inform product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement AI-driven solutions.
- Communicate research findings and technical insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Build, validate, and maintain data models to support R&D activities.
- Collaborate with the IT team to leverage digital solutions for analyzing historical test data.
- Stay updated on advances and innovations in the fields of research, science, and material informatics.
- Search and review technical information, including patents, technical papers, and trade journal articles.

Das ist Ihr Profil

- Master's degree in Science, Technical or Engineering discipline* with at least 5 years of respective professional experience
- Expertise with digitalization of production processes and systems
- Strong knowledge and experience in programming and production systems, particularly with Siemens control systems (TIA Portal, Step 7, etc.)
- Proficiency in connecting and providing process data, as well as integrating interfaces with higher-level systems.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), analytic tools, LLM, Gen AI.
- Language skills: English fluent and German proficient
