Compliance Manager (m/f/x)

Initial counselling of employees in the operational areas of tesa SE and its affiliated companies on all compliance issues with a focus on anti-corruption, antitrust law, money laundering, product liability, but also on other cross-cutting compliance issues, such as tax & export compliance, IT compliance, HR compliance.
Supporting the experts in the compliance fields
Implementation of compliance requirements in the business processes of tesa SE and its affiliated companies in Germany and abroad
Group-wide communication in connection with various compliance measures and initiatives
Planning, support for - or independent implementation of compliance training in the aforementioned areas of focus
Responsibility for the whistleblower protection system
Control and reporting activities (internal and external)
Reviewing operational plans and projects with regard to potential compliance risks (e.g. through business partner checks)
Revising and creating new guidelines and practicable processes
Reviewing existing compliance documents and processes for practicability
Close cooperation with the other compliance officers and interface functions
Supporting the Chief Compliance Officer of the tesa Group in the continuous development of the tesa Compliance Management System

Successfully completed studies as a (business) lawyer or in business administration with a focus on compliance or a comparable degree with a similar focus
Relevant professional experience in the area of compliance
Proven experience in the area of compliance in an international environment, ideally in the automotive or chemical industry
Strong analytical and conceptual ability to identify compliance risks and develop pragmatic solutions and system adjustments
Strong communication skills and excellent knowledge of German and English, other foreign languages are a plus
Committed, creative personality with a hands-on mentality
Very good understanding of economic contexts and practical solutions
A structured, independent and energetic way of working
High assertiveness, confident and motivated demeanour
Ability to work in a team and desire to work in a team with flat hierarchies
Initial experience in matrix structures or in a corporate environment
