Das sind Ihre Aufgaben
As a Lead Technology Developer, you will focus on developing cutting-edge solutions for adhesive tapes with the ability for debonding on demand. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of pressure-sensitive or structural adhesive tapes, collaborate with experts across disciplines, and bring new chemical concepts to life. Your tasks include:
- Development of adhesive building blocks, technology modules, processes, and methods for adhesive tapes with debonding-on-demand features.
- Designing experimental plans, conducting hands-on lab work, and evaluating tape samples.
- Identification and evaluation of new raw materials.
- Conceiving, evaluating, and implementing new scientific concepts in collaboration with internal departments, suppliers, and external partners.
- Coordination and implementation of new chemical concepts at laboratory and pilot scales.
- Leading independent projects and feasibility studies within interdisciplinary teams.
- Performing literature searches and contributing to intellectual property (IP) protection efforts.
Das ist Ihr Profil
- PhD or Master's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with expertise in organic synthesis or polymer chemistry.
- Industry experience is beneficial, but not required.
- Experience in polymerization techniques and knowledge of polymer physics is a plus.
- Strong laboratory skills, with the ability to evaluate novel chemical concepts quickly.
- Hands-on, solution-oriented approach with strong technical comprehension.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
- Independent, team-oriented, and analytical working style.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is advantageous, but not a requirement).
