Das sind Ihre Aufgaben

As part of our R&D team, you will focus on developing innovative adhesive tape solutions with debonding-on-demand functionality. This role combines polymer chemistry, material science, and practical application, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to sustainable and forward-looking technologies. You will work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment, helping to shape the next generation of adhesive products.

Your tasks include:

  • Develop adhesive building blocks, technology modules, processes, and methods for debonding-on-demand adhesive tapes
  • Design experimental plans, carry out hands-on lab work, and evaluate adhesive and tape performance
  • Identify and assess new raw materials for potential use in formulations
  • Conceive, evaluate, and implement new scientific concepts in close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners
  • Coordinate and scale up new chemical concepts from lab to pilot scale
  • Lead independent research projects and feasibility studies within interdisciplinary teams
  • Conduct literature research and contribute to the protection of intellectual property (IP)

Das ist Ihr Profil

  • PhD or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, with a focus on organic synthesis or polymer chemistry
  • Strong practical laboratory skills and the ability to assess novel chemical ideas effectively
  • Experience with polymerization techniques and knowledge of polymer physics is an advantage
  • Industry experience is a plus, but not essential
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and organizational abilities
  • Independent, analytical, and team-oriented working style
  • Full professional proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus
