Your Tasks

As a Business Process & Implementation Manager in tesa’s global Procurement department, you are responsible for continuing the roll out of a new purchasing system as well as the further improvement of the current global procurement process landscape. This involves close cooperation / coordination and stakeholder management with the strategic & operational Purchasing departments, Finance and IT departments and other important business stakeholders. The overall objective is to identify, analyze and drive the continuous improvement to optimize the global procurement processes by using state of the art IT solutions.

  • Based on business requirements, the job holder identifies, evaluates and drives the implementation of new IT solutions such as SAP and Ariba
  • Drives the global implementation of the procurement IT systems SAP-Ariba and SAP-MM
  • Serves as a Global Key User for procurement processes as well as a central contact for the global procurement organization
  • Provides trainings for regional / local key users and helps to develop and deploy the global organizational setup
  • Global spend analysis in the field of indirect procurement to identify total cost / process improvement potential in close collaboration with the Category Managers 
  • Ensures a smooth integration of our suppliers into the Ariba network to increase efficiency and global user acceptance

Your Profile

  • Professional with a Master’s degree in e.g. Industrial Engineering and Management, Information Management or Business Administration with relevant experience
  • Experience working in cross functional and international teams
  • High level of business acumen desirable
  • Working experience in the field of procurement or as a procurement process consultant is required
  • Profound knowledge on SAP / Ariba is desirable
  • Abstract thinking to transform procurement requirements, processes and concepts into an IT supported environment
  • Self-motivated and proactive mindset – willing and eager to learn and drive change
  • Structured and target oriented working style – ready to cope with high complexity
  • Fluent in English and German is desirable
