Your Tasks

  • Development of building blocks and prototypes with new design elements, especially pressure-sensitive adhesives, for the fast-changing E-Mobility / battery market 
  • Raw material screening for the development of functional materials (e.g. thermally conductive materials, fire-proof materials)
  • Business case support for the global E-Mobility project pipeline
  • Initiation of (development) cooperations with suppliers, customers and/or institutes
  • Regular alignment with suppliers, customers, tesa plants and the international tesa R&D locations
  • Leading projects and feasibility studies
  • Technical (lab) evaluation of samples and prototypes
  • Upscaling of prototype development into pilot or production scale
  • Self-dependent documentation and presentation of results
  • Evaluation of patents, filing of own patents

Your Profile

  • University degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Material Science or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in the area of building block / material development, mainly adhesive development
  • Preferably experience in product development
  • Flexible, dynamic and open for changes
  • Displays strong problem-solving skills and an innovative attitude
  • Independent and pragmatic working style
  • Good command of English
