Your Tasks

Strategical / Tactical

  • Developing and implementing the tesa logistics strategy and related roadmaps
  • Build up and develop a global logistics matrix organization
  • establishing worldwide logistics processes and business rules in his area
  • Standardize and manage logistics processes and improve
  • Support global ERP roll outs and develop into logistics solution
  • Global selection, support and development of external logistics service providers
  • Service provider management and global tender roadmap
  • Ensure global target setting process and KPI improvements
  • Managing global projects with focus on logistics
  • Consider market trends (e.g. digitalization) or megatrends (e.g. Gartner input)

 Operational

  • Managing tesa logistics network
  • Managing Central warehouse in Germany
  • Managing global key users for Inbound, Warehousing and outbound
  • continuous development of our global logistics network, improvements, and alignment with regions
  • driving for aligned, yearly targets, following the OKR approach
  • Within the framework he manages the mid- and long-term logistic costs development, proposes worldwide cost targets
  • set the target conditions for global harmonized logistics KPI´s and steer them
  • arranges corresponding analyses and agrees on optimization measures
  • manage the export business of tesa via central warehouse to all regions worldwide

Your Profile

  • University degree in Supply Chain Operations, Logistics or related field
  • 8+ years supply chain management experience with progressively increasing responsibility, specifically in material planning, S&OP, production, logistics and customer service
  • Leadership experience 4+ years with a collaborative leadership style
  • Proven track record of driving and delivering change in a complex, multi-territory organisation
  • Experience of complex project management ideally in matrix organizations
  • Leadership experience of international teams
  • Strong analytical, communication, networking and interpersonal skills
  • International working experience
  • English business fluent, command of German will be an Advantage
