Data Quality Manager (m/f/x)

What you will do

Facilitate high data quality by providing a framework for data quality management and data documentation – across data domains, applications and functions, globally.

  • Define and implement global data quality management methodology, standards, processes and tools
  • Align with stakeholders to ensure improvements of the data foundation where it creates the most value
  • Monitor achievement of goals and objectives for data quality management, implement and consolidate DQ KPIs & SLAs, provide cross-functional scorecards and dashboards
  • Drive definition and documentation of data e.g. in the data catalog through introduction of appropriate standards and empowerment of users
  • Continuously improve meta data management and data cataloging jointly with the data architect
  • Consult and support the data domain oriented data stewards and data experts from business functions by applying data quality management best practice
  • Orchestrate root cause analyses in case of data quality problems, implement countermeasures

What you will need

  • Degree in business administration, engineering, business informatics and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrable experience in data quality initiatives, analysis and reporting (data integrity, data profiling, KPI reporting and advanced analytics)
  • Understands the impact of data quality on the operational business processes and steering
  • Data cataloging
  • Process design
  • Profound understanding of DQ tools as well as major business IT applications like ERP, CRM, Master Data Management systems, PIM, MES, Analytics&BI solutions
  • English (fluent in written and spoken)
  • Good communication, presentation and coordination skills, stakeholder management
  • Data mindset (Willingness to improve data quality, understanding its importance)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to conceptualize, strategic thinking
  • Result-orientation
