tesa Controlling acts as a trusted business partner for the relevant business areas. We perform financial planning to ensure proper consideration of business risks and opportunities, we provide latest financials to enable better decision-making, and we continuously challenge ourselves to make our processes faster, simple, and digital.

The Consumer Controlling Team acts as Business Partner of the Sales Management from channels like DIY, Craftsmen, and eCommerce as well as Marketing and Sourcing functions of the Management Unit Consumer at tesa. We are looking for you to complete our Team as Marketing Controller (m/f/x.

  • You act as Controlling Business Partner of the Managers of two global Marketing departments
  • You contribute to Consumer strategy deployment by enabling financial steering of new product development and driving effective and efficient marketing activities and budgets
  • You add to successful product launches by providing financial guidance, accompany and challenge business cases as well as enabling portfolio steering
  • You enable a holistic steering of the global consumer marketing budgets e.g., by ensuring transparency and proper accounting
  • You develop KPI to monitor efficiency of media campaigns
  • You coordinate marketing budget planning and forecasting, and ensure that all processes are aligned and efficient
  • You lead and contribute to diverse projects

What you will need

  • University degree, minimum BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Profound knowledge in marketing controlling of consumer goods industry
  • Track record in design and implementation of tools and KPI to support steering of media campaigns
  • Experience in financial steering of product development processes
  • You feel comfortable in an international work environment
  • English: Fluent, contractual level, German: Basic
  • Self-driven, pro-active, and assertive team player
