1. Your application data

We take the subject of data protection and confidentiality very seriously and follow the appli-cable national and European data protection rules. Therefore, your online application will be transmitted in encrypted form in accordance with the currently accepted state of the art. In the following, we will briefly explain to you the most important aspects of our data processing (data collection, utilisation, and storage).
tesa SE will process your personal data with regard to your person in connection with the per-formance of your application procedure and to review your potential work-related suitability. We will process the information you have provided for the purpose of a well-founded personnel decision on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 I (b) GDPR.
Furthermore, assessments based on objective, non-discriminatory criteria will also be saved; provided that this is permitted in the individual case, publicly available personal data about your person will also be saved.
The data provided by you are necessary to perform the application procedure. Without this data we will not be able to consider your application.

2. How long will your online application be saved?

The data will be deleted after the end of the application procedure and after the expiration of any time limits for bringing an action unless you have given your consent that your application will be saved for other job offers.
If your application is in reference to a concrete job advertisement, we will save your application data after the application procedure for this position ends only insofar as this is necessary to protect our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 (F) GDPR, for a maximum of 6 months, or according to your consent (see paragraph 4).The same applies for unsolicited applications after comparing your application wishes and your qualification profile with our job offers.

In case of written applications, your application data will be saved in our applicant management system and utilised by our human resources departments. We will also save your written applications in our applicant management system according to the online application (see paragraph 2). The same applies for applica-tions we receive via email.

4. Is saving your application data for future job advertisements possible (applicant pool)?

If no position that currently needs to be filled can be offered to you and, on the basis of your profile, we arrive at the opinion that your application could also be of interest for future job advertisements for other departments or companies in the tesa group of companies, we will save your application data in our applicant pool for a maximum of 5 years, provided that you have explicitly consented to such saving and utilisation in your application.
Other tesa SE companies (see paragraph 6) in addition to the company you applied to can access this applicant pool. We recommend that you consent to the saving and utilisation of your application data in our applicant management system beyond the concrete application process, because this means that your application can also be considered for future job adver-tisements.
