What you will do

tesa´s Procurement Excellence Team drives the procurement transformation at tesa. Being responsible for the development of all global procurement standards, tools and processes, our mindset is ruled by process efficiency, transparency, digitization, and sustainability.   • You drive our sustainability ambitions within the global procurement function
  • You develop policies, standards, and processes to implement sustainability requirements in the team
  • You lead cross-functional projects to support important sustainability initiatives, e.g. regarding Supply Chain Transparency or Scope 3 Reduction
  • You translate legal requirements (esp. LkSG) into procurement targets and activities and ensure reporting of regulatory compliance
  • You implement software tools supporting sustainable procurement including the integration into our current software landscape
  • You proactively inform yourself about sustainability trends and products as well as legal requirements and keep expanding your knowledge and network
  • You share your knowledge by planning, conducting, and following up on workshops and trainings

 

 

What you will need

  • University degree in business administration, economics, sustainability or equivalent
  • At least 6 years of experience in project management, process consultancy for procurement, sustainability or equivalent
  • Ideally experience in sustainable procurement processes and legal requirements
  • Strong communication and change management skills, reasoning power and assertiveness
  • Enthusiasm and passion for sustainability
  • Ability to convince and inspire others for sustainability with a mindset of change
  • Long-term experience in cross-functional, international, and virtual teams
  • Analytical as well as conceptual skills
  • High level of personal initiative and responsibility
  • Structured way of working and solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German
