What you will do

The Novel & Functional Materials laboratory is driving manifold developments in the area of functional adhesives and coatings. In an international environment novel materials and technologies are utilized to realize innovative tesa products. The position is focused on releasable adhesives for improving sustainability of adhesive bonding. 

  • You support the team in development of products via performing trials in laboratory
  • You investigate activation methods for release of adhesive bonds
  • You assist in technical trials for the production of adhesive tapes
  • You run relevant application tests to characterize bonding and debonding properties of adhesive tapes
  • You document, interpret and discuss the results of your developments in an appropriate form

What you will need

  • You are enrolled as student (m/f/x) in chemistry, material science or chemical/process engineering
  • You enjoy development activities in the lab
  • You are highly motivated and work independently
  • You use a methodical way of working
  • You are confident in working with Microsoft 365
