Teamlead Shared Services General Ledger (f/m/x)

What you will do

  • Managing the daily operations of the General Ledger Accounting, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all G/L transactions, and reconciliations.
  • Collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Leading and managing a team of ca. 10 accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Preparation of (according to the Shared Services SLAs) balance sheets, income statements, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the HGB and IFRS
  • Resolving any discrepancies or issues related to G/L Accounting in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring of compliance with internal policies (e.g. ACM) and procedures, as well as external regulations and tax laws.
  • Assistance with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.

What you will need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FI and Workflows
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
