Research Scientist - Liner & Backings (m/f/d)

What you will do
- Development of filmic materials within R&D projects, in close cooperation with suppliers
- Project management of material and process development initiatives, as appropriate
- Close collaboration with internal product development, production, and purchasing teams
- Preparation and testing of laboratory samples to assess material performance
- Support of pilot and production trials for scale-up and validation
- Documentation, interpretation, and presentation of experimental results
- Technical responsibility for selected parts of the filmic backing assortment
What you will need
- Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or comparable field, with focus on polymer technology or surface science
- Solid understanding of polymer film production and processing
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Proactive, hands-on, and collaborative working style
- Excellent organizational skills and an international mindset
- Proficiency in MS365 and standard office applications
- Very good English skills (German is an advantage but not required)
