Your Role

We are looking for a strategic and dynamic Head of SHEQ to lead our global Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality initiatives. Reporting directly to Top Management, you’ll own our SHEQ vision and drive compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across a diverse international manufacturing network and complex product portfolio. 

This role calls for a collaborative leader who thrives on bringing teams together, developing talent, and aligning stakeholders around a shared vision of SHEQ excellence.

What You'll Do 

  • Lead the Strategy: Define and execute a global SHEQ strategy aligned with business growth, complexity, and regulatory demands. 

  • Own Quality Operations: Oversee global quality and occupational safety functions across international sites and varied production environments.

  • Build + Inspire: Develop, lead, and empower a high-performing SHEQ team across regions.

  • Ensure Compliance: Own ISO, IATF, and other certifications, ensuring inspection readiness and exceeding global standards.

  • Optimize Systems: Drive a lean, effective, scalable quality management system across regions and product lines.

  • Drive Customer Focus: Actively listen to customer needs and market trends, balancing performance, compliance, and cost of quality to create long-term value.

  • Navigate Complexity: Ensure SHEQ excellence across a broad product portfolio and cross-border operations.

  • Engage Stakeholders: Align leaders across functions and regions, unite people around shared priorities, and champion cross-functional collaboration. 

  • Deliver Impact: Develop and track meaningful KPIs, lead internal/external audits, and report directly to Top Management. 

Your Profile

  • Extensive industrial and leadership experience—ideally in automotive, chemical, or manufacturing sectors with complex operations.

  • Proven success in matrix organizations or global corporate structures.

  • Proven experience in driving change and leading cross-border initiatives.

  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on, customer- and solution-oriented approach.

  • Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills—especially in diverse international settings.

  • Deep understanding of global SHEQ standards and regulatory environments.

  • Technical degree or equivalent training.

  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
