Head of Logistics Operations (m/f/d)

Building and leading a high-performing logistics operations team, including hiring and training employees, setting performance goals, and providing guidance and support.
Developing, implementing and continuously improving logistics processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This also includes setting goals and defining KPIs.
Overseeing the planning, execution, and coordination of transportation activities.
Managing warehouse operations, including space utilization, inventory control, order fulfillment, and returns management for tesa’s central warehouse.
Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, customs requirements, trade compliance, and other relevant laws and regulations.
Supporting the development and implementation of tesa’s global logistics strategy.

University degree in Supply Chain, Economics or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
Several years of leadership experience in global, matrixed organizations.
Experience in tendering logistics services and managing service providers including transport control tower (4PL) services.
Excellent communication and leadership skills in an international environment.
Strong team player with intercultural communication skills.
Can-do attitude striving for excellence through continuous and sustainable improvement.
English required.
