Your Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated (Senior) Group Accountant (m/f/x) to join our team. In this key role, you will prepare high-quality group financial statements and elevate our consolidation processes. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our exciting journey, transforming the Group Accounting Department into an IFRS Excellence Center for the entire tesa Group.

Your Responsibilities

  • Steer the preparation of quarterly and annual group financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
  • Oversee and perform consolidation activities and ensure accurate integration of financial data from all entities.
  • Lead the IFRS goodwill and asset impairment test process and align with all relevant parties.
  • Act as the IFRS subject matter expert and trusted advisor across all group entities.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal policies; drive continuous improvement of accounting standards and procedures.
  • Promote efficiency through the use of IT tools and AI applications, identifying opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, respond to inquiries, and implement recommendations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting quality.
  • Drive project and process management initiatives within the Group Accounting function.

Your Profile

Your Profile

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in group accounting or auditing, ideally in an international environment.
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS and consolidation techniques.
  • Proven experience in applying IT tools and AI technologies to improve finance processes, with strong skills in identifying automation opportunities and implementing practical digital solutions
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial software, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience in project and process management is a strong plus.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
