Your Tasks

As a Technology Developer– Reactive Adhesives (m/f/d), you will drive the innovation and development of high-performance reactive adhesive systems that meet the evolving needs of our global customers. In this role, you’ll combine your deep understanding of chemistry with hands-on laboratory work to create novel adhesive technologies, from initial formulation to industrial scale-up.

You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues from Product Development, Production, Quality, and Application Engineering, working across functions and regions to translate scientific insights into market-ready solutions. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on next-generation adhesive materials in key industries such as automotive and electronics while developing your technical expertise in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.


Your tasks include:

  • Develop reactive adhesives for various industries (e.g. automotive, electronics)
  • Modify existing adhesive concepts and develop new formulations from scratch
  • Investigate curing mechanisms and kinetics to optimize performance
  • Characterize and test developed adhesives against internal and customer-specific requirement profiles
  • Create material specifications and take responsibility for raw materials and adhesives
  • Transfer developed adhesives from lab to pilot and production scale
  • Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional projects to advance technology and product development
  • Generate and secure intellectual property (IP) through patents and internal disclosures

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science
  • Knowledge of epoxy, acrylate, and/or isocyanate chemistry desirable
  • First experience in the adhesive or coatings industry preferable but not mandatory
  • Genuine enthusiasm for practical laboratory work and experimental problem-solving
  • Strong analytical and creative thinking skills with an innovative, can-do attitude
  • Excellent team spirit and service-oriented mindset
  • Full professional proficiency in English; German skills are an advantage but not required
