Product Developer for Corrosion Protection (m/f/x)

What you will do
- Investigating the corrosion of metals (Fe, Al, Ni, Sn, and other metals) caused by environmental influences as well as chemicals
- Development and conduction of experiments to analyze corrosion mechanisms
- Continuous analysis and improvement of existing products and processes to increase quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Documentation and evaluation of results
- Identification of protective measures and solutions to reduce corrosion
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to advance research projects
What you will need
- Completed university degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or a related discipline
- Ideally first experience and knowledge in corrosion research and metallurgy
- Expertise in handling ionic liquids
- Basic knowledge of electricity and electrochemical processes
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High level of communication skills and enjoy working in an international and interdisciplinary team
- Fluent English skills, German is a plus
