Global Key User SAP BI & BI Analyst Controlling (m/f/x)

What you will do

Please note that this is a limited contract (1 year).

You are a member of the Controlling & Accounting department and report to the Head of Management Reporting & Systems, the competence center for reporting, leveraging the cutting-edge technology of SAP for reporting in close collaboration with the IT department.

Your tasks:

  • You are the Global Key User and global contact for the BI reporting systems for sales controlling/reporting as well as the approval of authorizations.
  • You are responsible for the professional support and definition of reports in SAP BI.
  • You maintain master data for customer structures in SAP SD and SAP BW.
  • You load corrections to BI reporting systems (SAP SD and SAP BW).
  • You validate and cleanse data to ensure its accuracy and completeness.
  • You support the global SAP S/4HANA roll-out through the migration of master data for the reporting systems in the area of sales controlling/reporting and independently carry out user acceptance tests.
  • You coordinate the global Key User Community and act as 1st Level Support for regional Key Users.
  • You train users globally in sales controlling/reporting systems and SAP BI solutions.
  • You are the interface to IT for questions on sales controlling/reporting systems in SAP BI.
  • You are responsible for enhancing existing reports, systems, and IT solutions in collaboration with IT.
  • You support IT projects on the adaptation of existing BI systems for sales controlling/reporting and the implementation of processes.
  • You test and coordinate tests of new controlling reports in SAP BI.
  • You create dashboards and visualizations in the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

What you will need

Your profile:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, IT or equivalent, ideally with majors in Finance/Controlling and strong IT/BI reference
  • Several years’ dedicated work experience in IT, BI or Controlling as Key User for SAP BI
  • Excellent experience with SAP BW/BI/SD
  • High affinity to IT solutions combined with profound business knowledge
  • High personal initiative and proactive, thorough working approach as well as good conceptual skills
  • Very high customer- and service-orientation as well as excellent communication skills
  • Experience in project management are advantageous
  • Fluent written and spoken business English and preferably one additional foreign language, basic knowledge of German is advantageous
  • Skills in handling SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or creating SAC reports are beneficial
  • Very good MS Office skills (esp. Excel)
