Your Tasks

Designs, develops and optimizes automated solutions for the Pilot Center Operations to collect, store, process and enhance data utilization and accelerate the go-to-market process. Responsible for IoT at Pilot Center Shopfloor, data-related processes, data governance and quality of all generated data (real time and synthetic data).

- Connects new and existing data sources at our pilot lines (IoT, sensors, drives & hardware-based systems) and facilitates data accessibility & processability.
- Automates our machine park at the Pilot Center and works with IT to integrate into the new Shopfloor IT Network.
- Develops and implements effective and smart processes to collect, manage and store data generated at the Pilot Center; drives continues improvement.
- Ensures data quality for all data generated in the Pilot Center, aligned with the IT global standards, TD/PD data strategy and global data governance (e.g., conducting regular audits).
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams (IT, Operational Engineering, Process Engineering, Lab Data Scientist) to identify & design effective interfaces; address process interdependencies and inefficiencies.
- Provides technical support and training to the team on the use of automated solutions and data management systems.

Your Profile

- Master's degree in Science, Technical or Engineering discipline with at least 5 years of respective professional experience
- Expertise with digitalization of production processes and systems
- Strong knowledge and experience in programming and production systems, particularly with Siemens control systems (TIA Portal, Step 7, etc.)
- Proficiency in connecting and providing process data, as well as integrating interfaces with higher-level systems.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality and data visualization tools.
- Basic knowledge in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), analytic tools, LLM, Gen AI is desired.
- Language skills: English fluent and German proficient
