Your Tasks
- Initial counselling of employees in the operational areas of tesa SE and its affiliated companies on all compliance issues with a focus on anti-corruption, antitrust law, money laundering, product liability, but also on other cross-cutting compliance issues, such as tax & export compliance, IT compliance, HR compliance.
- Supporting the experts in the compliance fields
- Implementation of compliance requirements in the business processes of tesa SE and its affiliated companies in Germany and abroad
- Group-wide communication in connection with various compliance measures and initiatives
- Planning, support for - or independent implementation of compliance training in the aforementioned areas of focus
- Responsibility for the whistleblower protection system
- Control and reporting activities (internal and external)
- Reviewing operational plans and projects with regard to potential compliance risks (e.g. through business partner checks)
- Revising and creating new guidelines and practicable processes
- Reviewing existing compliance documents and processes for practicability
- Close cooperation with the other compliance officers and interface functions
- Supporting the Chief Compliance Officer of the tesa Group in the continuous development of the tesa Compliance Management System
Your Profile
- Successfully completed studies as a (business) lawyer or in business administration with a focus on compliance or a comparable degree with a similar focus
- Relevant professional experience in the area of compliance
- Proven experience in the area of compliance in an international environment, ideally in the automotive or chemical industry
- Strong analytical and conceptual ability to identify compliance risks and develop pragmatic solutions and system adjustments
- Strong communication skills and excellent knowledge of German and English, other foreign languages are a plus
- Committed, creative personality with a hands-on mentality
- Very good understanding of economic contexts and practical solutions
- A structured, independent and energetic way of working
- High assertiveness, confident and motivated demeanour
- Ability to work in a team and desire to work in a team with flat hierarchies
- Initial experience in matrix structures or in a corporate environment
