Your Tasks
As a Laboratory Technician – Rubber Technology (m/f/d), you will contribute to the development of advanced rubber-based adhesive solutions in our Rubber Technology Lab. In this role, you will be involved in the formulation, processing, and performance testing of elastomeric adhesive systems—working hands-on in the laboratory and supporting pilot-scale activities to turn concepts into reliable products. You will collaborate closely with chemists, engineers, and other R&D specialists. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision, innovation, and teamwork drive progress in adhesive technology.
- Collaborate in formulation development and maintenance within the field of adhesives.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate tests independently in laboratory and pilot plant environments.
- Analyze laboratory samples with respect to adhesive performance and polymer characteristics.
- Work with digital tools such as LIMS and AI to support faster development.
- Take responsibility for sub-projects or work packages within larger R&D projects, supported by your manager.
- Document and present results independently in relevant project meetings and teams.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemical Production Technician, or similar qualification, with several years of experience in a relevant field.
- Enjoys practical, hands-on laboratory work and taking organizational responsibility within the lab.
- Enthusiastic about developing and testing innovative adhesive systems and exploring new concepts.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
- Strong team spirit, communication skills, and structured working style.
- Proficient German skills (written and verbal) and intermediate English skills
