Your Tasks

tesa, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of self-adhesive products and system solutions, is seeking an engineer to support Team Process for a dedicated assortment, driving process performance, optimization, and innovation of coating process within a dynamic team environment. Teamwork is one key for our success. The candidate will report directly to the Team Leader Process.

 

As a Junior Process Engineer you have to ensure the repeatability and optimization of production processes, guaranteeing the appropriate level of quality and productivity.

In this role, you’ll contribute to:

  • Supporting the team Process, ensuring the repeatability and optimization of production processes, guaranteeing the appropriate level of quality and productivity;
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPI) of the production process (scrap, productivity, deviations from production standards, non-conformities, and complaints);
  • Identify optimal line settings to ensure repeatability in production processes while maintaining quality and production standards;
  • Ensure the adequacy and timely updates of specific production operating instructions and manufacturing instructions for each approved product;
  • Take part to the root-causes analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive measures upon quality deviations, according to the "8D" and "failure analysis" processes;

Your Profile

  • Bachelor orMaster’s degree in Materials, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 1–2 years of experience (internships or thesis projects count!) in an industrial or manufacturing setting;
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Familiarity with tools like DoE, FMEA, SPC and time&methods
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive mindset, ability to prioritize and to work in team;
  • Work with attention to safety, quality, and customer-centric approach;
  • Honesty, reliability, respect for diversity, transparency, and a team-oriented mindset are essential qualities, as well as being responsible for one's actions, being positive, and recognizing the impact of one's behaviour.
